I had a business trip to Beijing last week. It’s the next day after the great military parade, even the air of Beijing was remaining people’s proud and moving. The taxi driver who picked me up at Daxing airport said delightedly, 'Our country is so strong that no one can bully us any more.'

The negotiation with Kuaishou, however, did not run smoothly as I had expected. All night long, we were discussing the first issue and had no conclusion. In the end, the client’s manager said, 'I am sure I know our business better, and I suppose that you should progress the corporation in my way, and I have to leave now.'

At least, we had got an only clear decision. Then I decided to meet some colleagues the following day to ask them about the AI application researching. I have been concerning about AI applications as the technology has been boosting so fast. I can’t imagine the change of our careers if AI is really used in more real scenarios. It won’t be easy, but the first developers who have gotten the successful experience of AI will accumulate enormous advantages. It also took these colleagues and me a long time to learn and analyze the AI technology.

I asked them, 'After learning over six months, what if we launch a AI project for our business?'

One of them answered carefully, 'I’m sad to say that I can’t find a proper function to use it.'

'But why I have listened more and more applications from media?', I can’t understand.

'We can make a propaganda as well as them.' They said.

Actually, I had known it. The main problem of AI is not that AI hasn’t enough intelligence, but that there has no enough data for AI. A man is reacted by his knowledges in his mind, but most of them are hardly translated into text style which can be called by AI. The problem of data lacking will mislead AI to a total wrong direction. For example, I recently figured out an issue of my website. As I had forgotten that a process had hidden as a disguise behind Nginx process, AI tried so many times to modify the different configurations about Nginx. Like this example, AI may waste more human working to acquire more and more data.

“It’s the next day after the great military parade, even the air of Beijing was remaining people’s proud and moving.” 和 “even...” 两个部分逻辑不清晰，可改为 “It was the day after the great military parade. Even the air in Beijing still carried people’s pride and the sense of being moved.”，“carried” 更能准确表达 “承载” 的意思，“pride” 为名词形式，“the sense of being moved” 表示 “感动之情”。
“All night long, we were discussing the first issue and had no conclusion.”
“I asked them, 'After learning over six months, what if we launch a AI project for our business?'” “a AI” 表述错误，“AI” 发音以元音音素开头，不定冠词应用 “an”，即 “an AI project”。
“But why I have listened more and more applications from media?” 此句语序错误，在疑问句中，助动词应放在主语之前，正确的语序为 “But why have I listened to more and more applications from the media?”，同时 “listen to” 表示 “听…… 内容”，这里表达从媒体听到应用相关内容，需加上 “to”。
“The main problem of AI is not that AI hasn’t enough intelligence, but that there has no enough data for AI.” “there has no...” 表述错误，“there be” 句型表示 “有”，这里应改为 “but that there isn't enough data for AI”。
“A man is reacted by his knowledges in his mind” 此句语态错误，“react” 表示 “反应；起作用” 时，一般用主动语态，这里可改为 “A man reacts according to his knowledge in his mind”，“according to” 表示 “根据”，同时 “knowledge” 一般为不可数名词，不用复数形式。
“The problem of data lacking will mislead AI to a total wrong direction.” “total” 是形容词，不能修饰形容词 “wrong”，应改为副词 “totally”，即 “a totally wrong direction”。
“I had forgotten that a process had hidden as a disguise behind Nginx process” 此句语态错误，“process” 和 “hide” 是被动关系，应改为 “a process had been hidden as a disguise behind the Nginx process”，同时 “the Nginx process” 表示特定的 “Nginx 进程”，需加定冠词 “the”。

It was Sunday. I never get up early on Sunday. Sometimes I keep lying until lunch time. Last Sunday, I got up very late. When I looked out of the window, it was dark outside. 'Bad weather!' I think, 'It’s raining again.' At this time, the telephone rang. It was my aunt Lucy. 'I have just gotten off the train,' she said, 'I’m going to see you.'
'But I am still having breakfast.' I said.
'What are you doing?' She asked.
'I am having breakfast.' I repeated.
'Oh my god,' she said, 'Do you always get up so late? It’s one o’clock now!'

Postcards always spoil my holidays. Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and parks. A friendly waiter taught me some Italian and lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I couldn’t understand a work. I thought about postcards everyday. The holiday passed so fast that I had not send a postcard to my friends. The last day, I made a big decision. I got up early and bought 37 postcards. I kept staying in room for a whole day, but I didn’t write a single postcard.

According this, he has begun his private telephone service.

Last Wednesday night, we went to the city hall. It was the last day of the year. A large crowd of people gathered under the big clock of the city hall. The big clock would knock 12 times after 20 minutes. When it was 11:55 after 15 minutes, the clock stoped. The big minute hand didn’t move. We were waiting and waiting, but nothing happened. Suddenly someone shouted, 'It is 2 past 12! The clock halts!' I took a look of my watch and found it was true. The big clock refused to welcome the new year. By that time, everyone laughed and sang songs.

There is an ancient instrument in my home. It’s called clavichord. It was made in Germany in 1681. The clavichord is kept in the living room. My family owned this instrument for a long while. My grandfather bought it many years ago. But recently it was damaged by a client who played Jazz by it. Two key strings were broken, because she pressed the key so hard. My father was shocked and didn’t allow us to touch it. A friend of my father is fixing the instrument.

'Yes,' I said to the manager, 'There is still some honesty in this world!'

Late in the afternoon, children built a tent in the middle of the field. Just after this, they began to cook on the campfire. All of them were hungry and the food smelled very good. After a wonderful meal, they circled around the campfire and began to share stories and sing songs. After a while, however, it was raining. Then they put off the campfire and crept into the tent. The sleeping bag was not only warm, but also comfortable. So they were sleeping soundly. About at the midnight, two children were waken and shouted. There was water all covered the tent. All of them jumped outside from the sleeping bag. They found that a stream had been formed on the ground, as the rain was running heavily.

However, the most surprise aspect of this plane is that it can land on anywhere: snow, water, even the field which has just been plough. Captain Ben’s first passenger was a doctor, he flied to a lonely village in Welsh from Birmingham. Since that time, Captain Ben has carried passengers to a great deal of unusual places. One time, he landed on the roof of an apartment building. And another time, he landed on a garage which had been disabled. He has just rejected a strange request of a businessman, who wanted to fly to a lonely island in the Atlantic, Rocarl. The reason of his rejection was that this trip was too dangerous.

It’s my birthday today. I have never thought that birthdays are unusual days, because these days shouldn’t be different enough to make you paying any attention if you have had a wonderful life. These days are just colorful signs which notice you to realize your life becoming better and better.Sure, why not? At present, I’ve got an amazing relationship. I’ve got two smart sons. And I’ve got a good salary when I’ve moved into a silent office where I can do anything.

So, when I got up this morning, I felt very causal as usual. I drove to the working place on the same busy roads after dropping out my sons to school. During commute, I listened yesterday’s news which also had nothing special. I parked my car in the same garage and had the same breakfast.

But I known that I had an exciting thing. I rushed into my office, unlocked the drawer carefully and open the letter of this year. I read every single word back and forth. Then I turned myself around to my usual life and started to deal with all my routine work.

It’s one of the new days I lived in.

Some children were playing on the shore and someone was rowing on the river. Suddenly, a child kicked the ball heavily and the ball flew towards a little boat. Someone on the shore shouted to the man on the boat, but he didn’t hear. The ball hit him so hard that nearly made him fall in the water. I turned around to see the children, but there was no one. They all had gone. When the man realized what had happened, he smiled. He shouted to the children and threw the ball back to the shore.

Nearly after a week, the girl was able to talk about her experience. One afternoon, she set out from the shore by a boat and encountered the storm. when it was to be dark, the boat stuck a stone and the girl jumped into the sea. After a whole night, she swim to the shore. During that time, she swim for eight miles. Next morning, she saw the light in front of her and knew that she had been near the shore, because the light was on the high cliff. After arriving at the shore, the girl struggled to climb towards the cliff. This is all she remembered. When she woke up next day, she found out that she was laying in the hospital.

Nearly a week passed before the girl was able to explain what had happened to her. One afternoon, she set out from the coast in a small boat and was caught in a storm. Towards evening, the boat stuck a rock and the girl jumped into the sea. Then she swam to the shore after spending the whole night in the water. During that time, she covered a distance of eight miles. Early next morning, she saw a light ahead. She knew she was near the shore. Because the light was high up on the cliffs. On arriving at the shore, the girl struggled up the cliff towards the light she had seen. That was all she remembered. When she woke up a day later, she found herself in hospital.

'A new show will be played on 'globe theatre', ' I said, 'Are you going to see it?'

'Will you just stay in England?', I asked.
'No,' she answered.
With disappointing, I asked her if she had enjoyed her meal.
'Young man,' she answered, 'If you ate more and talk less, both of us would eat better!'

'Do you call that hat?' I said to my wife.
'You don’t have to be so rude,' my wife answered while she was looking at the mirror.
I was waiting on a new style chair with full of holes. We had been staying at this hat shop for a half hour, but my wife was still standing by the mirror.
'We shouldn’t buy the things that we don’t need,' I gave my point suddenly, but I regretted it at once.
'You don’t have to say this,' my wife answered, 'as well as I don’t have to mention your terrible tie which you bought yesterday.'
'I think it’s beautiful,' I said, 'a man never has too many ties.'
'A woman never has too many hats.' she answered.
Ten minutes later, we walked out of the shop. My wife wear a hat like a lighthouse.

Ian Thompson now wants to sell his pub which he has just bought ~~recently~~. The reason of the pub selling is that the pub often has ghosts haunting. He told me that he wasn’t able to fall **asleep** at a night, for he had heard strange **voices** from his pub. The following morning, he found that the door of the pub had been blocked by a chair and the furniture had been moved. Although Thompson had turned off the lights before sleeping, the lights were still on **in** the morning. He also said that he found five empty Whisky bottles that must have been drunk by ghosts. When I implied that it must have been someone in the village, Thompson shook his head. Villagers had told him that they would not accept the pub even if he gave them the pub.

I like traveling in the countryside, but I don’t like missing roads. Recently I had a short-term excursion, but it took more time than I had expected.
'I’m going to Woodfood grass,' I said to the conductor as soon as I got in the bus, 'But I don’t know where it is.'
'I will tell you where you can get off,' the conductor answered.
I sat in the front of the bus in order to enjoy the country view. After a while, the bus stopped. I looked around myself and surprisingly found that there is only me in the bus.
'You have to get off here,' the conductor said, 'Our bus has been the end.'
'Is here Woodfood grass?' I asked.
'Oh dear,' the conductor suddenly said, 'I’ve forgotten to tell you.'
'It doesn’t matter,' I said, 'I get off right here.'
'We’re going to return,' the conductor said.
'Well, since this, I am staying on the bus.' I answered.

Yesterday I visited him. I rang the door bell and I was not surprise**d** when I saw that Hugh was fat as before. He took me into the room and hurriedly hid a large bag under the table. He explained that his diet was so strict that he had to reward himself occasionally. Then he showed the content**s** of the bag which included five large bars of chocolate and three bags of candy.

We have just moved into a new house and I have worked hard the whole morning. I tried to tide up my new room, but it was not easy, because I have more than one thousand books. It was worse that the room was very small, so I temporarily put the books on the floor. At that time, the books had took every inch of space on the floor and I actually walked on these books leaving from or coming into the room. A few minutes earlier, my sister helped me carrying an old bookcase upstairs. When she came into my room and looked at the books on the floor, she got quite a surprise. 'This is the most beautiful carpet I have seen,' she said. She had started the 'carpet' for a while, then she said, 'you don’t need any bookcase at all, you can read your carpet on free times.'

Firefighters have managed to contain a big forest fire in California. After the moment, they have been trying to find out the reason of the fire. Forest fire is usually caused by broken glass or cigarettes which have been dropped unconsciously by people. Yesterday, firefighters inspected the ground carefully, but they didn’t find glass. They are also very sure that the fire was not caused by cigarettes. This morning, however, a firefight found out the reason occasionally. He found a dead snake which twisted in the 16000 volts power line. In this way, he figured out the mystery of fire. The explanation is easy but abnormal. A bird snatched the snake from the ground and threw it on the power line. Then

A short while later, I was busying **mixing** butter and flour and my hands were soon full of sticky pastry. Just then, the telephone rang. Nothing could be worse than this. I picked up the receiver with two of my sticky fingers. I was very disma**yed** when I hear**d** the voice of Hellen. It took me ten minutes to persuade her to call me later. At last I hung **up** the telephone. How terrible it **was**! My fingers, the telephone and the doorknob were all covered with pastry. TODD: You must be John’s cousin Matt, right? From San Diego?

MATT: Correct! I just got in last night.

TODD: I’m Todd, John’s roommate from Tech. Glad to meet you. I can assure you that I’m not anything like what John has told you.

MATT: I’m happy to meet you, too—and, yes—I’ve heard about you—football player and party animal extraordinaire.

TODD: Football, yes—and as a matter of fact, I do like parties. But tell more about yourself and what you do in San Diego?

MATT: Well, I’m more of a surfer than a football player. You know, San Diego has a fantastic coast—we can surf all day and party on the beach at night.

TODD: That sounds awesome. How long are you staying?

MATT: Well, I’ll be here for two weeks. John has promised me a nonstop schedule—kind of a mix of sightseeing, meeting his friends, checking out the local scene, and—hopefully—camping in the mountains of a couple of days.

TODD: John’s a good guy—and you can be sure he knows the local scene. He knows everybody in town. I’m sure he’ll show you a good time. And his friends are here to help.

MATT: Thanks too much—I really appreciate that. I’m still a bit jet-lagged at the moment but should be in good shape by tomorrow. I’m looking forward to hearing what John has in store for me…

TODD: Don’t worry. We’ll all take care of you. And don’t be surprised if we show up on your doorstep in San Diego one day, ready for surfing!
