We named the schedule framework "VStation", it was designed for a high performance and secure cloud scenario, and it actually supported millions of virtual machines last decade. I have currently become the general manager of the computing products of Tencent Cloud. This means I’m in charge of the whole products matrix, including a number of "sharp knife" products with unique advantages, like virtual machines, GPUs, distributed clouds, and many more. We have currently served more than 10,000 institutions globally, with over 300 overseas clients, covering more than 20 countries and regions in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. Nowadays, AI is an obvious trend in nearly all industries. Our computing products not only provide strong and stable infrastructure for AI, but also support delivering the backend system to anywhere, such as clients’ private local data centers. In addition, we are researching how to combine AI with our products as well. Customers can complete advanced functions with natural language instead of complex operations in the console or programing with APIs. Whether supporting AI or using AI, it’s just beginning, but I think it will be a fantastic journey for the future of the world. During college, I was just obsessed with computers and the Internet, which could leave me alone. Then I got really into coding, and tried to solve practical problems with it.   In 2010, I read an article on Facebook, that said social networking would be the future, which really interested me. I thought T was China's Facebook, so I only interviewed with T, and got in, after graduation.   It took me a while to learn the ropes, when I just joined the company. For example, you shouldn’t go back home before 8:00, even if you have completed all the work that day. As I was saying, I really did not understand much outside of coding. Yet I was very lucky to have a terrific mentor, who taught me a lot of skills, in the office, in an easy way.   By that time, I started researching, how to ensure the elasticity, and security of a complex distributed backend system. Before long, I designed a demo of the new generation of cloud schedule framework, which eventually became the core system of TC.   Working here has been really challenging. Especially, when the top brass arranged for me, to become the product manager leader, of cloud computing, after several years. The worst part of this job, is definitely, when I have to attend a conference, about the business results, such as revenue and profit. It’s always a sticky situation. Every once in a while, I’ll have nothing to do at home all day, instead of going to the company, which allows me to relax a little. Don’t get me wrong, I still really like my profession. I just need more space for myself to be more patient.   People are evolving all the time, so am I. I have currently become the general manager, of the computing products of TC.
