A：How’s going today? I want to talk about a day of my work

B: sure, sounds good to me.

A: I'm a manager in the company, and I have to attend many conferences every day.

B: You must be very busy. when did you arrive at the company today?

A: I used to arrive at the company at 9:00 am on work days. But today, I’m running half an hour late.

B: what’s up?

A: Nothing important, I just overslept this morning. So I hurried to the company and had a quick breakfast. Fortunately, I had a nice commute.

B: That's a good way to handle the situation

A: What about you? Were you late?

B: Yes, I went to bed too late the night before, I have had too much work recently.

A: Do you have some break time at work? It’s an unhealthy habit to sit too long.

B: Sure, I take a short break every hour and I like to cover myself with a light blanket on my seat. I really care about my health.

A: That’s a great habit to have. What did you do this morning?I made the schedule of today on the way to the office, but I just dealt with the emails.

B: I joined a meeting to discuss how to improve the efficiency of product sales which took up almost the entire morning.

A: Did you get some good ideas?

B: Maybe there’s a way to expand the radius of our product capabilities by enhancing the security of the product.

A: Did you have time for lunch?

B: Thank you for your concern. I headed to the cafeteria to grab some noodles for lunch.

A: Oh, It’s awesome, did you eat the Hunan spicy rice noodles?

B: Yes, Do you also like them? We can go to eat together someday.

A: Great. But I was sleeping during lunch time instead of eating something.

B: Do you have any discomfort?

A: Not really, I just want to lose weight.

B: OK, you can eat some nuts or light snack in the afternoon if you feel hungry.

A: Thank you. I attended a variety of meetings this afternoon. And there’s an interesting story that someone asked the top brass to give him another 200 head counts for the product. The boss just smiled and didn’t say anything.

B: It’s ridiculous. The company needs to increase profit and cannot afford the additional cost of more employees.

A: It’s really a tough day. I almost didn't have any time to do the useful things I wanted to do.

B: what do you want to do?

A: I want to discuss and solve the key problems in the product. Just like you.

B: I’d like to join in. Shall we have lunch together tomorrow, the spicy noodles. We can talk about it, and learn English.

A: Thank you for your invitation, I’ll be there on time.

B: You are welcome. Goodbye.
